A fantastic start to the season for the new look Old Alts Fc with a 7-0 win over the new look High Lane. A great all round team performance saw Old Alts dominate the game reducing High Lane to long distance shots and half chances. This has been our best start to a season in recent years and with the merger of both the Old Alts teams gelling well we have high hopes for this season.
"Old Alts had their best start to a season in many a year crushing High Lane 7-0 at Crossford Bridge. High Lane who have several players who double up playing cricket had no excuses though. The match was as good as over by half time with Alts four goals up and they added three more in the second half just for good measure.
